Bake Sale
The Vining School PTO is hosting a fundraising bake sale on Tuesday, November 6 from 3:00-7:00pm in the main hallway. If you are able, please consider donating an individually wrapped baked item.
Coats for Kids
Thank you to the families that have already begun to donate winter coats and jackets.Vining School is hosting a Coat for Kids Coat Drive. Please donate new and gently used winter coats. All donated items will be professionally cleaned by Anton's and distributed to local families in need. The donation box is located in the main hallway.
Our fourth and fifth grade students are looking to raise funds to help offset the cost of their end-of- year celebrations. Please join us for one or more of these "Dining for Dollars" fundraisers.

All three versions of the redistricting plan have current Vining students in grade K-3 attending the Ditson School next year. The Ditson School is hosting an Open House on Wednesday, November 7 at 6:00pm to welcome Vining students and parents. Please plan to attend and find out more about the Ditson School.
Library Book Swap
Due to Election Day, we will not be swapping library books.
Students in rooms 4, 6, 9, 13, 17, and 18 will swap books on Tuesday, November 13.
Parent Math Workshop
Billerica Public Schools is hosting the first Parent Math Workshop of the year on Thursday, November 8 at 6:30pm at the Parker Elementary School.

Redistricting Plan
The Billerica School Committee is scheduled to vote on the proposed redistricting plan on Tuesday, November 6, 2018, with possibility of tabling the vote until Tuesday, November 26, 2018.
Turkey Trot
The annual Billerica Partners for Education Turkey Trot, scheduled for Sunday, November 18. If you are available, please consider joining us for this fun, family-oriented community event. It would be great if the Vining could take home the participation trophy one last time. Hopefully the weather will cooperate more than last year's event. Participants that register for the Turkey Trot before November 8 receive a free t-shirt. Cost for adults to participate is $25. The registration link is racewire.com/register.php?id=9575
