Celtics Tickets Raffle 

Please help support the Vining Elementary School fourth and fifth grade students in their fundraising efforts, and earn yourself a chance to win a grand prize of four tickets to see the Celtics play the Pacers on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at 7:00 PM.  Tickets are in Balcony 302, Row 6, Seats 1-4; includes a parking pass.

Purchase 1 raffle ticket for $5, purchase 3 raffles tickets for $10, or best value purchase 7 raffle tickets for $20.  All of the proceeds will be put directly towards the fourth and fifth grade end of year field trips and end of year celebrations.

Raffle tickets are available at the Dining for Dollars events and online.

Coats for Kids

Thank you to the families that have already begun to donate winter coats and jackets.

The Vining School is hosting a Coat for Kids coat drive. Please donate new and gently used winter coats. All donated items will be professionally cleaned by Anton's and distributed to local families in need. The donation box is located in the main hallway.

Dining for Dollars

Our fourth and fifth grade students are looking to raise funds to help offset the cost of their end-of- year celebrations. Please join us for the following "Dining for Dollars" fundraiser:

Morning Drop-off

If you drive your child to school in the morning, please remember to not pass the school busses while in the driveway. This is to ensure the safety or our students, and it is the law.

Quick request/reminder: Vining staff does not begin work until 7:45am. Please do not drop your child off prior to this time. 

Tree of Giving Collections

We are collecting warm winter items to donate to Catie's Closet. Please consider donating scarves, hats, mittens, and gloves. Donations will be accepted through Friday, December 14.

Library special begins on Wednesday of this week.

Turkey Trot

It was great to see so many of our Vining family at Sunday's Turkey Trot. By registering under the Vining School on-line, and participating on Sunday, we were able to take home the Turkey Trot trophy. It will be proudly and prominently displayed in the main office for the rest of the school year.  Thank you again for all you do to help make the Vining Shine everyday!
