Coats for Kids
Please donate new and gently used winter coats during our Coats for Kids clothing drive. All donated items will be professionally cleaned by Anton's and distributed to local families in need. The donation box is located in the main hallway.All three versions of the redistricting plan have current Vining students in grade K-3 attending the Ditson School next year. The Ditson School is hosting an Open House on Wednesday, November 7 at 6:00pm to Vining students and parents. Please plan to attend and find out more about the Ditson School.
Library Book Swap
On Tuesday, students in rooms 3, 7, 11, 15, and 16 will be given time to swap their library books. Please remember to have your child return their loaned book on this day.
Students in rooms 4, 6, 9, 13, 17, and 18 will swap books on November 13.
Parent Math Workshop
Billerica Public Schools is hosting the first Parent Math Workshop of the year on Thursday, November 8 at 6:30pm at the Parker Elementary School.

Turkey Trot
The annual Billerica Partners for Education Turkey Trot, scheduled for Sunday, November 18. If you are available, please consider joining us for this fun, family-oriented community event. It would be great if the Vining could take home the participation trophy one last time. Hopefully the weather will cooperate more than last year's event. Participants that register for the Turkey Trot before November 8 receive a free t-shirt. Cost for adults to participate is $25. The registration link is racewire.com/register.php?id=9575
Wicked Wacky Wednesday Spirit Day
Show your Vining School spirit and style by celebrating Wicked Wacky Wednesday Spirit Day on Wednesday, October 31. Students can participate by wearing Halloween themed clothing (no costumes), mixed-up day, crazy socks, or crazy hair. You can mix and match the themes or choose one. Thank you to our Student Council for coming up with this fun spirit day.
