Back to School BBQ
Thank you to everyone that was able to join us on Friday night for our final Back to School BBQ. It was a great evening filled with friends, food, and fun.
Yankee Doodle Parade
Thank you to all the kids, parents, and staff that joined us either by walking in the parade or cheering from the sidelines. Our Vining spirit really shined on Saturday.
Redistricting Meeting
On Monday evening, the three redistricting plans will be presented during the first of four open forums. If you are available, I encourage you to attend. The forum begins at 6:30 pm, at the Billerica Town Hall. Please note that parking can sometimes pose a challenge and space is available in front of BMHS, or on the right side of Town Hall..

Boston Cares
Boston Cares is a non-profit organization that partners local business with schools and other agencies to complete days of service. I am happy to announce that the Vining has been selected this year. On Friday, October 5, Boston Cares is scheduled to repaint games on the hard top, build picnic and tree benches, build an herb garden, and coordinate a STEM fair for our students. Please note that due to the large number of volunteers, parking may be more difficult on this day
PTO
Earlier this week you received a notice from the PTO with meeting dates for the year. If you are available, please plan to attend a meeting.
On September 25, we will begin the discussion for fourth and fifth grade end-of-year celebrations.
