All former Vining students graduating this year are invited to join us for light refreshments. Please let the office know if you know of a senior that might be interested in attending.

Fifth Grade Growing-up Talk
On Friday, our fifth grade students will participate in the growth and development talk with our health teacher, PE teacher, and nurse. Please let the office know if you have any questions.

Thank you

  • Thank you to Mrs. Skelton for organizing and running Art and Poetry Night last week. The event was a great success with many of our students participating.
  • Thank you to Mr. Broughton for bringing his dragster, Comanche, to the Vining and answering the age old question of, "Why do I need to learn about fractions and decimals?"
  • Thank you to Mr. and Mrs. Melendez for volunteering their time last week to work with our health teacher. The students had a great time learning about Taekwondo. We look forward to their upcoming visit on Monday.
  • Thank you to all of our mentors and students that participated in Read to a Child this year. Read to a Child is a nationally recognized program that partners area businesses with schools. Through the program mentors volunteer their time to visit schools and read during lunch time.
